RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Own Leather, we pour immense passion, time, and hard work into crafting every single piece that leaves our studio. Because our products are made-to-order and handcrafted specifically for you, we have established a clear Return & Refund Policy. We provide all customization services completely free of charge, and we hope this policy ensures transparency while honoring the dedicated labor that goes into our artisan goods.

1. For Personalized & Customized Products

  • Manufacturing or Printing Errors: If your product arrives damaged, defective, or with a personalization error made by Own Leather, we will gladly accept a return and provide a full refund or exchange.

  • Customer Preference Returns: Because these items are uniquely personalized to your order, we cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges if you are simply unsatisfied with the product (unrelated to a production or printing flaw) or if you change your mind and no longer wish to keep the item.

  • Cancellation Window: You have 24 hours from the exact time you place your order to request a cancellation. After 24 hours, production on your custom item begins, and the order can no longer be cancelled or modified.

2. For Blank & Non-Customized Products (Plain Items)

If you purchased a standard, plain item without any custom modifications, you are fully eligible for our standard return policy:

  • 30-Day Return Window: You may return or cancel a non-customized item within 30 days of delivery.

  • Product Condition: To be eligible for a return, the item must be completely brand new, unused, and in its original condition and packaging. Items showing any signs of wear, usage, or modification will not be accepted.

3. How to Process a Return or Report an Issue

If your item is defective, or if you need to return an eligible plain item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us via Email: Send an email to contact@ownleather.com within your eligible return window.

  2. Provide Details: Include your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos showing the manufacturing defect or damage.

  3. Review & Return Instructions: Our team will review your request within 12–24 hours and send you detailed instructions and a return shipping address if approved.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected by our studio, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed immediately. The credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, and the refund processing time will typically take 3 to 5 business days depending on your financial institution.
